Mission HQ

I spent three hours in the building this afternoon - just me and my mp3 player blaring music (of the christian variety - naturally !?!?!) into my ears. I can confirm the main hall absorbs sound well cant guarantee I will sing so badly when we are all in.

I was in there taking an inventory of items whcih ive recorded on the new office computer I am going to install.

In the end we have ended up with 16 internal doors each with three keys (all now safely numbered and stored) and 20 window keys. 7 fire extinguishers all numbered and listed so if one decides to go walk about I'll know where it lives ! 12 CAT5 computer or TV Ariel points all identified and logged. I've also labelled the remotes for the velux windows so we know which one opens which.

I also managed to make a start on one of the four building manuals which explain in the finest detail where everything came from and who to contact if something goes wrong. They are really quite dull actually so after a short amount of time I decided to clean all the doors which were greased up with builders finger prints and the glazed panels in them.

This Tuesday our new projector will be finished. I understand the final image size will be 8' x 6' which is plenty big enough for the size of the wall. The chairs are coming on Tuesday as will and will temporarily be cited in the classroom until such time as the main hall is cleaned and ready to take them. Ive drafted a seating plan to accommodate all 170 chairs and have calculated that in small group mode the classroom can accommodate 55 which may be handy for larger small groups.
