Boys and there toys !

Duncan's crane fetish took a dramatic turn this week with the return of the 'biggun' on site to lift the upper floor into position. This required a number of non-load bearing roof cross beams to be removed in order to lower the heavy pre-cast concrete floor slabs. I was lucky enough to be able to shoot some film of one of the panels being put in place.

The building has come such a long long way this week. The inner walls surprised me a bit. Instead of industrial grey the breeze block is industrial beige. It actually looks quite good. The floor upstairs is quite something. It looked so strange seeing guys wandering around up there. One things for sure its not going to get blown over in a breeze.

Mike was saying that people using the bus stop outside was now referred to as the 'new church' stop rather than the 'pet warehouse' stop - that's the way it should be.
