The builder has informed me that electricity will be connected to the mains next Tuesday. This weekend the 8 inchs of screeding will be poured into the main lower floor areas. A vehicle (presumably a mixer) will come on site tomorrow and the mixture will be pumped into the building via a big hose ! Apparently its quite an interesting project. What it does mean is that any ducting and pipework changes from here on out will have to be above the floor.
Our electrician has been on site this week to confirm a few requirements from our side and our kitchen man will be coming on site soon to measure up for his side.
The missing windows were due on site yesterday although when I went past in the evening there didnt appear to be any changes to the appearance of the building.
The special windows i.e. the upper floor triangular window in the apex and the arch looking over the car park entrance are being made specially for the building. They are bespoke products so they take a little longer, apparently they made templates to work from so that they get the shapes right.
